Directed Public Affairs Department for five municipal cable channels reaching 1.3 million cable households in New York City. Defined and developed a new communications department encompassing publicity, promotional production, special events, fundraising and community outreach.

Supervised fundraising for a non-profit educational media firm producing PSA's and public awareness campaigns.  Created new business development strategies, wrote grant proposals, coordinated teams of technical and educational specialists on grant projects. Produced TV/radio/­print campaigns about social issues such as high-risk youth and women's health, including the NYS Child Care Campaign.

Scheduled and supervised post-production sessions, negotiated terms with vendors and booked crews at IBM Corporate Communications for French adaptations of IBM com­mercials and other A-V materials.

Editor/Researcher on “The Pursuit of Happiness”, a documentary feature by Gustafson & Reilly (aired on PBS/Ch. 13.)  For Global Village / New School video teaching facility, scheduled workshops and equipment use, arranged screenings and seminars, curated video competition, and taught video editing. Wrote grant proposals (NYSCA, NEA, NEH), coordinated fundraising efforts and events series, screened festival entries, booked artists, composed publicity copy for posters and brochures.

SORBONNE: Graduate studies in Cinema and Media, University of Paris I & III, 1983-84 & 1985-86.
